Summary:
As a Communications Coordinator for our church, you will play a vital role in managing and enhancing the church's communication strategies.
Your responsibilities will include overseeing newsletters, website updates, and social media platforms, ensuring effective promotion of church events and activities.
Responsibilities:
Content Creation:
Develop engaging content for various communication channels, including newsletters, website, social media, and other publications.
Craft messages that align with the church's mission and values.
Website Maintenance:
Update and maintain the church website with current and relevant content.
Ensure website functionality, including links, forms, and multimedia elements.
Event Promotion:
Develop and implement communication plans to promote church events and activities.
Utilize various channels to maximize outreach and attendance.
Public Relations:
Foster positive relationships with local media outlets and community organizations.
Submit press releases and engage with media for coverage of church events.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in using various communication tools and platforms.
