Summary:
The Construction Assistant in this position will aid in the refurbishing, remodeling, and routine maintenance of all facilities owned and/or operated by WestCare and all related entities. Essential Job Functions include:

Provides assistance in new construction, refurbishing, remodeling, and the regular maintenance of all facilities owned and/or operated by WestCare and all related entities;
Provide general labor assistance in FitzHouse projects;
Maintain cleanliness and organization of job sites;
Operate basic hand and power tools safely;
Communicate effectively with supervisors, subcontractors, and team members.
Embraces and embodies the mission, vision, guiding principles, clinical vision and goals of WestCare Foundation;
Performs all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Certifications/Licensures:
Valid driver's license and ability to obtain and maintain WestCare's vehicle insurance is required.
Education:
High school Diplomas or GED equivalent required.
Experience and Competencies:
Basic knowledge of remodeling and construction techniques and tools required;
Ability to work independently and as part of the team required;
Experience in facility operation and maintenance required;
Ability to exercise good judgment and discretion required;
Ability to be aware of and adhere to specific timeframes and time limitations required;
Ability to utilize office equipment and programs, such as printers, scanners, phones, Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, etc. required;
Adherence to the highest standard of ethical conduct, especially to standards governing confidentiality required;Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
