8 Full-time 13 hours ago Full Job Description Purpose of Role Training Support To provide Skills and Knowledge by Designing, Developing, Administering, and Facilitating World Class operational training for Operations Associates to improve their technical skills and performance.
The Training Support Role is responsible for implementation and management of all Factory Training.
This includes but is not limited to:
new hire orientation, onboarding, compliance, and annual trainings.
CVS The CVS Lead is a key technical resource for the site and is responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of site and capital projects in terms of development, launch execution, and post launch evaluation.
The CVS lead will partner with the Value Stream leadership to supervise all commissioning, validation, and start-up activities for projects across the site.
Principle Accountabilities Training Support Play a key role on the sites E&T Pillar to continuously improve training processes.
Coach and influence the site leadership team on the appropriate Associate Development & Training systems to apply for optimal site performance.
Negotiate resources to deploy these systems.
Teach / Coach site on the Mars Associate Development & Training systems including Step-Up Cards, Skill Matrix, Functional Trainer, On-The-Job Trainer, New Hire Orientation, and compliance trainings.
Teach, coach and assessment E&T Pillar methodology to the MSE Pillar Team Members & coordinate the capability building process for the site.
Deliver operational objectives through use of FMOS (operating system), MSE (Mars Supply Excellence) and Continuous Improvement in associate training & development systems Understand and execute regulatory compliance responsibilities including Job Task Analysis for core associate role tasks and associated training requirements.
Support implementation of MSE.
Support the execution Single Site Improvement Plan Developing training material (Identify and utilize the training aids (equipment, mock-ups etc.
) for manufacturing) Ensure adherence of performance tracking tools including Skill Matrix, database, and standardized standards tracking Support FMOS connection points (meetings) to help implement the skill gap reduction process which visualizes and prioritizes training needs, metrics, and gaps Verbal/Written communicate to all levels of the organization status of training program actions Execute, teach, coach, and assess the 7 steps of performance-based training regularly Keep updated on latest technology in audio visual field to make proper decisions for best training intervention Assist operations in development & delivering training for new projects within the site Deliver or assist in execution of internal & external assessments as it pertains to training or training effectiveness Systematic meetings with Line Managers to update, identify skills gaps, plan, and deliver training to reduce the skills gaps leveraging current ways of working (FMOS, MRF, MSE) - Capability Building Process CVS Coordinate commissioning, validation, and start-up for major and small minor projects at the site Develop the CVS plan to include Global Best Practices for Quality & Food Safety Set up and lead meetings related to CVS activities and project information Resolve cross functional issues and agree on actions, follow up on actions, define and report on milestones Context & Scope Training Support Develop Training Materials & Assessments Develop Role Profiles, Step Up Cards, and Skills Matrices Understanding of knowledge/skills/performance-based programs along with proven leadership skills Teach, coach and assessment of E&T Methodology Making and submitting reports to the stakeholder groups in the prescribed format Evaluate training effectiveness methodology Coordinate all equipment upgrades/installations by updating training manuals/documents Skilled in interviewing Subject-Matter-Experts and Master Performers to obtain information CVS Lead CVS Activities for the site Manage CVS Budget Job Specifications/Qualifications High school diploma/GED and/or 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Experience completing full training cycles (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate) Ability to understand complex processes & interact with multiple teams to ensure appropriate content for audience when creating training documents Ability to collaborate in a team environment Pro-active team player who thinks ahead, plans, and suggests solutions Ability to work with minimal supervision Positive attitude toward change Knowledge and Skills Utilize Microsoft Outlook to read emails and schedule/accept meeting invitations Utilize Digital Factory tools including iPads, Weever, POKA, etc.
Keep updated on latest technology in audio visual field to make proper decisions for best training intervention Produce training videos and content and upload to POKA Basic computer skills for developing, presenting, and updating training materials Comprehensive understanding of the CVS process, lean thinking methodology, and their application to the site environment What can you expect from Mars?
