Claims Support Rep Duration:
6 month contract to hire Must Haves:
-2yr
of office environment experience -Previous experience/knowledge with Insurance, Medical Terminology, or medical billing -Ability to be versatile and diverse on a day to day basis -Comfortable working with outside vendors, attorneys, and claims examiners to gather info for claims data entry Plusses:
-Previous workers comp insurance experience -Bilingual English and Spanish Day to Day:
This Claims Support Reps will be performing a variety of claim handling functions from new claim set up and bill payment to preparing and distributing various forms and correspondence.
This position interacts with claims examiners, attorneys, and outside vendors to gather data and provide claim processing support and customer service.
This position will require setup of new workers compensation claims, handling of inbound and outbound calls to obtain pertinent medical and claim info, and comply with all policy, procedural, and jurisdictional requirements.
