The For Women practice is looking for an OB Advisor to work closely with our pregnant patients.
The candidate should have knowledge of medical insurance and authorizations, with an understanding and interest in the policies and nuances as they relate do individual benefits.
They are responsible for finding out the patient's financial responsibility based on their insurance plan, making sure the patients are making their payments towards that obligation, obtaining any needed authorizations for delivery, making sure patients keep their appointments.
Style should be gentle, but firm, giving clear and honest direction and expectations on out of pocket patient expenses as it relates to the patient's pregnancy.
High school education is required.
Prior medical office is experience is required.
