Accounting Clerk

The Accounting Clerk is responsible for a variety of accounting tasks, including Accounts Payable, and provides clerical support to the Accounting Team.
All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental policies, practices, as well as DeSimone Gaming policies and procedures.
Full benefits are available after the completion of 90-day introductory period.
Wage:
DOE.
Match invoices with receivers, purchase orders and requisitions.
Code invoices to proper general ledger accounts.
Assist with vendor inquiries, answering phone calls/e-mails and liaising with appropriate departments.
Maintain required Accounts Payable documents and record when necessary.
Set up and maintain vendor accounts while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Research and reconcile monthly vendor statements.
Maintain records and or files.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Assist in month end close by ensuring all invoices are processed and posted to correct month.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Required:
Must be 21 years of age.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
1-2 years of progressive accounting experience.
Must be able to prioritize and manage multiple work assignments while meeting deadlines.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced, challenging, and ever-changing environment.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with vendors and other Team Members.
Ability to operate 10 key:
Knowledge of Great Plains software.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel).
Professional telephone and e-mail communication.
Must be able to work varied shifts, which may include weekends and holidays.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
