About the PositionThe Investor Reporting / Investor Accounting Analyst is responsible for various IR functions and deliverables on behalf of the Client in order to achieve their quality, performance, and financial objectives, as well as the overall achievement of PMSI business objectives.
Core strengths must include mathematical/financial aptitude, keen problem-solving skills, an abundance of common sense, and a willingness to leverage technology.
What you will doAnalyze work product and provide continuous improvement to existing processesCollaborate with Business Analysts and Development team to refine processes and technologyDemonstrate a basic understanding of Pooling & Servicing AgreementsPerform 7 R's (Reporting, Remitting, Reconciliation, Research, Root Cause Identification, Resolution, and Remediation) for pool and loan-level activities on behalf of the assigned clients and applicable Investor guidelinesPrepare monthly recap, performance, and dashboard reporting, and manage data in order to identify trendsRemain current with AllRegs, and update impacted operating procedures and training materials accordinglyReview and validate controls in place before month-end cutoff activities in accordance with applicable remittance methodologies (Actual/Actual, Scheduled/Actual, Scheduled/Scheduled)You haveBachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Finance, Economics, or a closely related field.
Advanced degree preferredMinimum GPA of 3.
5Minimum 2 years of work experienceMathematical/financial aptitude.
Experience using Microsoft Office suits with an emphasis on Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups)Good written and verbal communication skills.
