The Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for supporting the corporate office's accounts payable activities.
The associate will perform assigned tasks and resolve issues timely.

Previous experience in Accounts Payable preferred but not required; will consider candidates who are working towards or recently obtained a college degree in Accounting.
Proficient is using Microsoft Office, Word and Excel.
Solid mathematical and analytical skills.
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to meet deadlines.
Strong organizational skills; attention to detail.
Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Clerk include but not limited to:
Performs daily accounts payable activities including, but not limited to maintenance of the general ledger and preparation of various accounting statements and financial reports in accordance with standard operating procedures.
Makes calls to vendors to clarify any questionable invoice items, prices or signatures; calls intercompany department for proper information or data regarding invoice payments as needed.
Facilitates the payment process by ensuring all required documentation is accompanied with the payment request.
Takes phone calls and responds to any questions from departments or vendors as it relates to invoice payments.
Maintains frequent contact with internal and external customers to address any payment issues.
May assist other team members as well as Accounting management in departmental initiatives.
Performs related duties as assigned.
