Job SummaryWe are seeking a meticulous and experienced Technical Writer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be entrusted with the task of creating clear and concise documentation that meets our company standards and serves the needs of our diverse user base. Your expertise will be pivotal in translating complex information into accessible guides, manuals, and other materials that enhance user understanding and contribute to our product's success. Key Responsibilities & Tasks Collaborate with technical staff to gather and interpret technical information. Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience. Creates manufacturing work instructions for new products to be released to production Write user manuals, how-to guides, installation instructions, and frequently asked questions pages to help technical and non-technical users. Create and maintain the information architecture, making it easy for users to find and understand the information they need. Edit, clarify, and proofread documents written by others, and coach non-writers on ways to improve their writing skills. Work with cross-functional teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and documentation requirements. Analyze existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities. Produce electronic documentation in addition to hard copy manuals. Maintain a comprehensive library of technical terminology and documentation. Manage updates and revisions to technical literature. Use photographs, drawings, diagrams, animation, and charts that increase users' understanding. Ensure technical verbiage is easy to understand by the layperson. Gather usability feedback from customers, designers, and manufacturers. Create tutorials to help end-users use a variety of applications. Research and build knowledge about products, services, technology, or concepts to be documented. Job Requirements:
High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) Preferably Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Technical Writing, or related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Technical Writer in a technical field, preferred Strong knowledge of technical writing principles, practices, and techniques Ability to understand and document complex technical concepts, processes, and systems Experience creating user manuals, installation guides, API documentation, and online help systems Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Strong attention to detail and ability to proofread technical documents for clarity, grammar, and spelling Ability to work with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, support agents, and other stakeholders Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines Proficiency with technical writing tools such as MadCap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker, Microsoft Visio, and/or similar software Strong problem-solving Experience with image editing tools and diagramming software PI2df136c4b4ff-25448-34023488 Recommended Skills Api Adobe Frame Maker Attention To Detail Coaching And Mentoring Computer Animation Diagramming Apply to this job. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
