Responsibilities:
Case Management:
-Receive, review, and evaluate incoming pre-litigation cases.
-Conduct comprehensive investigations to gather necessary evidence, including medical records, accident reports, witness statements, and other relevant documents.
-Assess the viability and potential value of claims, considering liability, damages, and legal precedents.
-Develop and implement effective case strategies to maximize client's recovery.
Client Communication and Counseling:
-Provide exceptional client service and maintain regular communication with clients, keeping them informed about the progress of their claims.
-Conduct initial client interviews to gather relevant information and establish a strong attorney-client relationship.
-Explain legal concepts, rights, and options to clients, ensuring they understand the claims process and potential outcomes.
-Address client inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.
Negotiation and Settlement:
-Engage in settlement negotiations with insurance companies, opposing counsel, and other relevant parties to reach favorable resolutions for clients.
-Prepare demand letters, settlement proposals, and other legal documents necessary for negotiations.
-Skillfully advocate for clients' interests, leveraging legal knowledge and negotiation techniques to achieve optimal results.
-Review settlement offers and provide informed advice to clients regarding the acceptance or rejection of offers.
Documentation:
-Review legal documents, including demand letters, settlement agreements, releases, and correspondence.
Collaboration and Teamwork:
-Collaborate effectively with team members such as Case Managers and Administrative Staff, to gather necessary information and support case management efforts.
-Coordinate with external parties, including medical professionals, experts, and other attorneys, as needed.
-Participate in case review meetings, provide input, and contribute to the development of case strategies.
Qualifications:
NEVADA bar licensed REQUIRED.
- 5 years experience as a Personal Injury Attorney Must have proficient and adaptable computer skills.
Must be a team player, dependable, and adaptable to a fast-paced, high- stress environment.
Must have solid organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
Must be a great communicator with exceptional customer service skills.
