Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Mill Operator to join our team. As a CNC Mill Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to perform precision machining operations. This is a crucial role in our manufacturing process, ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC milling machines to perform machining operations according to blueprints, engineering drawings, and program specifications
- Load raw materials into the machine and secure them properly
- Monitor machine operations to ensure that parts are produced within tolerance limits
- Make adjustments to machine settings as needed to achieve desired results
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the machining process
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
- Must have Haas & Lathe experience
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpretation
- Experience with CNC programming and operation
- Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
- Familiarity with tooling and tool selection for different machining operations
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers
- Forklift certification is a plus
- Experience with stamping press operations is a plus
- Familiarity with logic controllers is a plus
- Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
