Your daily responsibilities include:
MAJOR JOB DUTIES: _Duties include, but are not limited to the following:_

Present self in a professional manner at all times.
Ensure proper service and atmosphere for the guests.
Handle guest complaints.
Administer all disciplinary actions.
Responsible for all administrative duties including payroll, scheduling, days off, bid posting, early outs, etc.
Supervise, motivate, and encourage the staff to openly communicate their suggestions, problems and needs; assist Room Manager in hiring and evaluating Room Service personnel.
Prepare team member schedules to ensure proper staffing levels for service and labor control.
Monitor and evaluate both kitchen, room service and mini-bar performance and guest relations.
Take the initiative to correct deficiencies and provide input, whenever possible, in decision making that may affect guest service, food quality, mini-bar efficiencies, inventory control, staff morale and financial returns.
Perform daily inspection of food quality or a line check to each shift ensuring freshness, consistency and recipe specifications are met with each menu item and portion size.
Ensure that all rules, regulations, and procedures are complied with by team members under supervision.
Document incidents and events involving guests or team members accurately and in detail.
Assigns stations and record attendance.
Inspect staff as to uniforms, cleanliness, identification, etc.
Assist management in other matters are requested.
Order supplies to ensure proper par levels.
Keep staff informed of new procedures.
Ensures a safe working environment for team members.
Promote teamwork among team members.
Must provide courteous and friendly service to all vendors and staff.
Performs related work as requested.

To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set:

Experience: _ _3-4 years experience, preferably in a high volume food service operation, with some supervisory. Excellent organizational and people skills required.
EDUCATION _: _Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent additional experience.
SKILLS: _ _Good organizational skills. Excellent communication skills. Ability to perform basic and intermediate math. Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. Ability to present self in a professional, pleasant, confident and well groomed manner. The ability to work effectively with team members, other department personnel and guests. Full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules, policies and procedures. Ability to read, write and communicate verbally in English._ _
