This is a Part time non-exempt position reporting directly to the Lifestyle Director. The incumbent is responsible for supporting the Lifestyle Director and Activities staff in all administrative functions as well as assist the Lifestyle Committee and the various association clubs as needed.
## POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary responsibilities may include but, are not limited to the following:
Advise Lifestyle Director of matters affecting the department.
Attend events as required.
Assist in all administrative functions for Lifestyle Director and Activities staff with functions including but not limited to calendar management, creating resident correspondence, document creation, blue card response, payables process, contract management, etc.
As required, assists in the development of monthly articles for the Spirit Magazine.
Take minutes at the monthly Lifestyle meetings if needed.
Coordinate mailing lists for potential vendors for the various expo's and fairs.
Creates flyers & bulletins as needed while maintaining all the community bulletin boards in Anthem, Liberty & Independence Centers.
Respond to telephone calls & mail and coordinate resident inquiries and any reasonable requests by management.
## KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITY
SKILLS AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS
Verbal and written communications skills (in English) are required. Communication could be with any or all of the following: homeowners, relatives and/or friends of homeowners, tenants, general public, staff, Managers, Board of Directors, local government entities, and contractors.
Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
Skill in the use of a variety of computer software programs. At a minimum, must be skilled in the use of Word for Windows, Excel, and Publisher and e-mail systems.
Ability to work independently while handling the pressure of multiple tasks, deadlines and sensitive information.
Ability to delegate and effectively use time management.
Ability to correspond with people of various levels of education and influence.
Must be detailed oriented.
Basic math skills required.
Must have working knowledge of computer, Outlook and other office equipment, i.e. multi-lined phone system and copier.
Skilled in maintaining an efficient cheerful and professional attitude while dealing with people in volatile and sensitive situations.
Manual dexterity is required for typing, writing, filing, and answering the telephone.
Ability to sit at a desk and utilize necessary equipment such as computer, telephone, fax and scanner.
Visual acuity is required to operate office equipment.
Frequent push-pull of 5-10 pounds force and lifting of 5-10 pounds.
Work is performed indoors in a climate controlled environment.
Computer, printer, mouse, copier, POS system, scanner, cash register, multi-line telephone/voice mail, digital camera, and Connect software.
## MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
REQUIRED EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Minimum of two years college or related work experience
High school diploma
Experience and skill in use of computer software.
Experience and skill in letter writing and composition.
Experience and skill in dealing with people during difficult situations.
