Your daily responsibilities include:
MAJOR JOB DUTIES: Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

Develop and facilitate training programs, department guides, materials and handouts for Security Department.
Train newly hired Security Officers to perform their duties and ensure training effectiveness during the Field Training program and adherence to all policies and codes of conduct.
Provide ongoing remedial training to Security Officers when necessary.
Complete daily observation reports and weekly end of phase reports for newly hired security officers assigned to the field training program.
Assist in preparing training plans, materials and training manuals and instructing the Security Academy.
Attend outside training programs to obtain updated, compliant, pertinent information which can be utilized within the Security Department.
Maintain all Departmental training records, acknowledgements and files.
Have the ability to be flexible to work various shifts when needed.
Conduct and/or support investigations including follow-up, and interviews on guest or team member related incidents.
Review surveillance coverage on all guest, employee or vendor accidents at the direction of the Security Manager.
Responsible for preserving evidence and records for possible legal action.
Continually evaluate job performance of Security Staff.
Performs related work as requested.

To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set:
EXPERIENCE: 1 year Security Hotel/Casino training experience required. 2 years Security Hotel/Casino Experience or 2 years Investigative experience preferred. Military or Law Enforcement background experience is preferred.
EDUCATION : High school diploma or GED, or 2 years University level courses, or equivalent .
SKILLS: Excellent communication skills. Full knowledge and understanding of all hotel/casino and departmental rules, regulations, policies and procedures. Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff. Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English. Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment. Excellent training, presentation, and instructional writing and planning skills. Computer skills including MS Office Word, Excel, and Power-Point.

CERTIFICATE/LICENSE : Gaming Registration, Alcohol Awareness card, Valid Nevada driver's license with excellent driving history, CPR and First Aid Certification.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
