Project Manager

Here's What We Are Looking For:
The Project Manager is responsible for the management of product and service launch projects, external and internal, and development projects.
Essential Functions:
o Manage projects that require the collaboration of cross-functional teams across all products and locations ie.
be effective in communication, lead cross-functional teams (Product Management, Product Development, Merchant Sales, Channel Partner Sales, Marketing, Customer Care), drive changes and results, collaborate, escalate, execute, plan, document, and demonstrate thought leadership to execute projects for product and service launches and internal infrastructure and operational projects.
o Drive launch calendars and conduct periodic touch points with the cross-functional team to ensure launches are tracking to plan.
o Define specific launch objectives, deliverables, timelines, and help remove obstacles to success.
o Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
o Ability to influence without direct authority.
o Choose proper tools for project planning and implementation.
o Escalate project and process roadblocks.
o Monitor and report on progress toward key goals and objectives.
o Deliver consistent, repeatable launch best practices, processes, and deliverables.
Retrospectively evaluate results and determine lessons learned to continuously improve them.
o Be effective in communication, lead team, drive changes and results, collaborate, escalate, execute, plan, document, and demonstrate thought leadership.
o Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
o Facilitate discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution within the team.
o Support and educate the Product Manager, especially with respect to grooming and maintaining the product backlog.
o Lead by example.
o Generate and maintain detailed timelines in a timely manner and track progress.
Ensure required milestones are achieved.
o Deliver with flawless execution.
o Effectively communicate and escalate.
o Demonstrate accountability for the team's execution.
o Communicate effectively with the Product Manager.
o Submit detailed weekly reports that convey essential information about the health, status, risks, and impacts of projects.
o Develop appropriate management reporting to illustrate key information on project progress.
o Highlight areas of risk and concerns, judge impacts, and offer solutions and alternatives.
Desired Qualifications:
o Demonstrated experience managing complex projects (particularly technology projects) from initiation through completion on committed schedules, 3+ years experience preferred.
o Knowledgeable with agile methodology and successful agile techniques such as User Stories, continuous integration, agile estimation, etc.
o Strong leadership, decision making, relationship management, conflict resolution, and problem solving skills.
o Demonstrated success establishing, managing and maintaining effective working relationships with all levels of employees.
o Critical thinking, strong analytical skills and problem solving ability.
o Ability to handle a variety of tasks effectively and efficiently.
o Ability to predict areas of risk and concern.
o Ability to prioritize multiple projects and requests.
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
o Excellent organizational skills with attention to details.
o Familiarity with payment processing industry processes, technologies and players.
o Comfortable giving presentations to groups inside and outside of the company.
o Proficiency with Microsoft Office (or equivalent) products including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook.
o Proficiency with Salesforce CRM preferred.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
