Responsible for all areas relating to financial reporting. This position will be responsible for developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements This position addresses tight deadlines and a multitude of accounting activities including general ledger preparation, financial reporting, year-end audit preparation and the support of budget and forecast activities. Will have contact with Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas' Executive Director and Director of Finance which requires strong interpersonal communication skills both written and verbal. Meets accounting financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions. Confirms financial status by monitoring revenue and expenses; coordinating the collection, consolidation, and evaluation of financial data; preparing special reports. Maintains accounting controls by establishing a chart of accounts; defining accounting policies and procedures. Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements Work with the Director of Finance to ensure a clean and timely year end audit. Supervise the general ledger group to ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met.
At least two years of experience as a Budget Analyst, Business Manager or related.
Masters Degree in Business Administration or related field.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
