Sr. Recruiter
WestCare Foundation - Behavioral, Mental and Whole Healthcare ? Las Vegas, NV
Special emphasis of this role is in creating and maintaining a well-qualified and diverse pool of candidates in a timely and cost effective manner. Consults with hiring managers as it relates to recruitment and staffing issues; develops network of contacts through various channels and participates in ongoing initiatives to develop, integrate and improve the sourcing and recruiting program for the organization. Accountable for placement & retention standards set forth by management.
Directly reports to the VP of Talent Management
Recruit and secure top quality talent
Champion, within the organization, a commitment to honesty, integrity, and responsible corporate behavior.
Constantly perform internal and external research and benchmarking to adapt best practices, continuously improving recruiting practices, as well as retention and development results.
Build strong relationships with hiring managers and serve as a strategic advisor on recruiting matters
Advise hiring managers on networking and recruiting strategies and provide recommendations for attracting diverse applicants
Source candidates utilizing cutting edge technology, social media, targeted outreach and networking
Take initiative to provide innovative solutions to challenges and ensure timeliness and efficiency throughout search
Review resumes, interview candidates, lead post interview discussions, and manage candidate communications and expectations
Guide hiring managers to identify a balanced interview team, design an efficient and professional interview process, and prepare interviewers
Negotiate job offer, coordinate reference and background checks, and ensure candidate records are accurate and complete
Guide hiring managers to make fair hiring decisions
Participate in the development and optimization of recruiting processes and best practices
Maintain a current level of knowledge and skills required to effectively serve in this position. This is accomplished by participation or membership in appropriate local, regional, or national professional associations, by attending workshops or classes, by networking with colleagues, and through current professional literature.
Bachelor's Degree preferred
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Ability to work within established time frames with limited supervision
Minimum of five years' experience in full life-cycle recruiting
One year experience including pharmaceutical and/or biotech recruiting or medical behavioral & mental health strongly preferred
Proven Experience recruiting senior level professionals with life sciences backgrounds (PhD, MD, etc.)
Proven effectiveness leading talent searches while demonstrating professionalism, discretion, fairness, and confidentiality
Demonstrated success driving recruitment efforts and influencing hiring managers to adopt best practices in all aspects of recruiting
Demonstrated effectiveness working efficiently, productively, and with urgency in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment
Proven ability to prioritize competing demands and keep others apprised of progress
Demonstrated success exercising sound judgment, applying effective analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills, and acting and thinking independently
Knowledgeable about project management processes and methods
Proven success using online recruiting tools and strategies to identify talent
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in MS Office and working knowledge of applicant tracking systems and online sourcing techniques
Superior verbal, written, and presentation skills. Keen attention to detail. Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical human resource journals, financial and benefit reports, and legal documents. Prefer dual language in Spanish, additional languages helpful.

Policies & Procedures - articulates knowledge and understanding of organizational policies, procedures and systems. Able to integrate them into scope and focus, as well advise how to enhance them where applicable.
PC and Technology Skills - demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and others as required. Proficient in ATS systems; leveraging them to drive outcomes.
Scale ? Thinks, and executes on a fast timeline that leads to long term results and overall impacts to the retention across the company.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
