TIMET has a current vacancy for a Melt Shop Supervisor at the Henderson, NV plant. The Melt Shop Supervisor is responsible for operational oversight of production processes, ensures we produce product within specifications, and planning and scheduling of work assignments to ensure the department meets production goals. Will supervise the production of titanium material, while ensuring the safety of employees, quality of product, and on-time delivery. Responsible for training and evaluating operators on assigned jobs, including machining operations. Knowledge and understanding of hydraulics, pressure, vacuum, and electrical preferred.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Ensure compliance with all Safety and Environmental Standards.
Ensure compliance with Plant Quality Standards.
Plan and schedule work assignments to ensure the department meets production goals.
Oversee production process to ensure product is within quality specifications.
Ability to react to time sensitive situations, for both safety and production requirements.
Arrange crew vacations, timekeeping and disciplinary actions.
Understand the Collective Bargaining Agreement and enforce in a fair and consistent manner.
Provide direction, coaching, support and instruction to all reporting positions.
Support and enforce all company policies and procedures.
Recognize opportunities for enhancements and implement.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL and ABILITY REQUIREMENTS The Melt Shop Supervisor must have the following qualifications and skills:

Computer skills in spreadsheets and word processing software.
Knowledge of SAP software desirable.
ExperienceMinimum: High school diploma or equivalent, 1 - 3 years of supervisory experience, preferably in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment; may consider lead person experience.Preferred: 3 - 5 years of supervisory experience in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment, melt experience in similar industry preferred

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
