JOB: Retail Clerk ? Administrative (Bookkeeping, Receiver, Scan Clerk)
Provides fast friendly customer service. Performs administrative functions, may handle payroll and personnel functions, hang shelf tags and interface with vendors, depending on role.
Bookkeeper role may handle financial accounting, personnel matters including payroll, orientation and training, corrective action, and records retention depending on location.
Receiver receives product interfaces with drivers and vendors and accounts for missing, damages or surplus merchandise.
Scan position ensures scan and price accuracy, hangs tags, and makes adjustments as needed.
Operates computer programs and relevant systems.
Cleans work areas as needed.
Strong Customer Service Skills.
Prior administrative or bookkeeping experience preferred.
Basic math skills, and strong customer service and communication skills required.
Familiarity with computer programs and Excel preferred.
Regular attendance required.
Mental alertness required.
Lifts, manipulates, pushes and pulls items of varying sizes of 20-50 pounds, depending on position.
Bends and stoops, twists and turns.
Sitting, standing and walking required depending on role.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
