Business Customer Service Representative I
Position Summary
Interacts with consumer or business customers to handle customer service inquiries and problems via the telephone. May also respond to e-mail inquiries. Customer service is the primary function and contacts are predominantly routine but may require deviation from standard screens, scripts, and procedures. Records any consistent problem areas and may maintain records of returns, schedule changes, product enhancements or changes, and product pricing. May resolve return credit problems and answer billing questions. Uses computerized system for tracking, information gathering, and/or troubleshooting. May answer non-technical questions regarding company products, assess needs, and suggest/promote alternative products or services. Directs problems which cannot be handled within Customer Service to the appropriate organization and follows up to ensure problem is resolved.
Experience navigating multiple computer screens and programs while interacting with customers.Absent a reasonable accommodation or military obligation, employees must be available to work a flexible schedule (including days, nights, weekends and holidays).
The starting hourly rate of pay for this position is $12.30 per hour.Our current hours of operation are as follows: Monday thru Friday 5:00am - 7:00pm & Saturdays 7:00am - 5:00pm

Basic Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • One year experience operating a computer in a Windows based environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Six months experience in a customer facing environment

  • Six months experience and/or technical education/training troubleshooting computer hardware, mobile phones, or other electronic devices

  • Face to face customer service experience is great

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
