Overview:
The Cardiology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant will care for patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings. S/he will perform physical examinations and treat common episodic and chronic health care problems, monitor patient progress, and be a resource for RNs, LPNs, and support staff. This NP/PA will also admit, round, and discharge medical patients, collaborate with the Attending Physician and Care Managers to ensure optimal continuum of patient care, and participate with the Inpatient Services leadership team to support efforts to improve quality of care.
Essential Functions:
Consistently exhibits behavior and communication skills that demonstrate HealthCare Partners' (HCP) commitment to superior customer service, including quality, care and concern with each and every internal and external customer.
Uses, protects, and discloses HCP patients' protected health information (PHI) only in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards.
Performs additional duties as assigned.
Education:
Current Nevada Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
Certificate of completion from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program
Must have taken advanced courses in evaluation and management of patients, pathophysiology as well as health assessments.
Must have or be eligible to have a Nevada Pharmacy and DEA License
Experience:
A minimum of 2 years of Cardiology experience required

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
