Overall purpose of role:
Responsible for Planning & Forecasting across Collections, Fraud, Care and/or Credit Operational functions
Maintain strong relationships across the entire network to understand business needs and impacts in order to ensure appropriate staffing to service our customers across the different lines of business
Key Accountabilities and Skills required:
Key specific accountabilities
Solely responsible for all capacity plans and forecasting needs across a key business function
Provide rigorous methodology and approach to documentation and version control to ensure replicability, performance and adherence to all regulatory controls
Stakeholder management and leadership
Position will work closely with peer group of individuals, management and Sr. Executive Leadership across their area of responsibility
Expected to maintain and establish key relationships for complete understanding of business needs and changes in order to successfully fulfil their business obligations
Strong presentation and interpersonal skills that can articulate forecasting and planning to different audience types a necessity
Decision making and problem solving
Strong analytical skills across technical fields a requirement to create, analyse and socialize results in a concise and informative way
Superior insight and investigation into Operational business to uncover and develop/enhance forecasts and capacity plans for increased accuracy and insight
Innovative thought processes to create Best in Class functionality and insight; ability to pioneer new methodologies, reporting capabilities and analysis to continuously evolve and enhance overall team results
Risk and Control Objective: All Barclays colleagues have to ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Enterprise Wide Risk Management Framework and internal Barclays Policies and Policy Standards.
Your Skills and Qualifications will include
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in a technical field: Statistics, Finance, Economics or similar
2 years analytical experience with proven performance in decision making and problem solving
2 years advance Microsoft Office capabilities
1 years of coding experience in SAS using complex procedures and data mining techniques
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree preferred
Experience in Planning & Forecasting in a Workforce Management function
Proven ability to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders; strong communication and interpersonal skills
Formal studies and/or experience in statistics and modelling would be beneficial
Business expertise in an Operational setting

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
