SUMMARY
The Engineering Project Manager, through effective leadership and participation, is responsible for the implementation and management of the company?s annual compliance plan based on a risk based approach. It is the responsibility of this position to ensure that all deliverables for a project are prepared to the required standards by maintaining awareness of current regulatory and company standards related to OSHA and industry research. This position is accountable for communicating updates and issues to the team members as well as meeting the established timelines.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Plan, organize, and prioritize work in order to meet organizational goals and objectives.
+ Provides assistance in preparation of 3-Year Capital Planning estimates, budgets, scope documents and schedule data for proposed or approved projects.
+ Assists Vice President of Engineering in monitoring and reviewing regulatory changes and implement policies and procedures to ensure required changes are implemented.
+ Provide support in Healthcare Laundry Accreditation Council (HLAC) and Hygienically Clean Inspections and preparation.
+ Perform Engineering Compliance Audits, field investigations and implement follow-up corrective actions to ensure compliance with department, federal, state, and local regulations.
+ Perform Production Equipment Maintenance Annual Evaluations with Operations Team
+ Establish and communicate Best Practices for PM programs, spare parts inventory management, asset management, work order processes, planning and scheduling, and maintenance engineering.
+ Identify and Analyze improvement opportunities for CMMS and recommend cost effective solutions contributing towards business bottom line.
+ Determine standard procedures for calculating and reporting Maintenance KPI?s
+ Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
+ Build relationships industry compliance officers
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
+ BA/BS in Management and or Engineering is required or equivalent. MS is preferred.
+ Minimum of 3 years experience with industry regulatory programs
+ OSHA 30 Hour Outreach Training for General Industry
+ Minimum of 3 years experience with CMMS
+ Minimum of 3 years experience with inventory management.
+ Project Management Certification
+ Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
+ Facility Management Profession Certification preferred not required.
+ Excellent problem solving organization, and time management skills
+ Excellent written and oral communication
+ Ability to handle complexity, multiple projects and work under tight timelines
+ Proficient in the use of Windows based office software including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, power Point and Outlook.

+ Proven record in delivering accurate high quality of work, with exceptional attention to detail in day to day tasks
+ Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects/deadlines

+ Strong drive for results and ability to bring projects to completion.
+ A self-directed individual who enjoys working in an entrepreneurial setting where process and procedures are still being developed.

PROFESSIONAL GROWTH
+ Maintain memberships to NFPA, AHA, ASHE, NAILM etc.
+ Remain current to changes in plant operation technology and environmental services
+ Remain current to changing regulatory criteria from all agencies having governance over laundry operations as they relate to plant operations, environmental services, safety and security

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
