OS - Sanitation Worker

Position Summary
ABM a leading provider of integrated facility services is currently taking applications for Sanitation Workers in our Henderson, NV Bread Baking facility. Our client is the leading producer of breads, buns, rolls, snack cakes and pastries, which are distributed fresh to foodservice and retail customers in the Southeast, Mid-Atlantic, and Southwest, as well as select markets in California and Nevada.
Essential Duties
Perform all functions of sanitation in bakery, trash removal, mopping, scrubbing, sweeping and detail cleaning
Maintain and clean all equipment in the bakery such as bread and bun racks and machinery
Disassemble/resemble and clean/sanitize bread machine parts
Maintain and clean work all work areas throughout the entire plant, dump trash and carry buns to dumpsters
Various other sanitation duties may be assigned by the Sanitation Manager
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationship with employees and supervisors.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers, peers, and management.
Ability to work independently and/or in group, with minor supervision
Some knowledge of Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO), preferred
Working knowledge with CIP/cleaning chemicals, preferred (Training will be provided)
Work environment is mostly indoors in wet and dusty environment with the noise levels ranging from moderate to various areas requiring hearing protection.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Job duties may be modified at any time.

Qualified candidates will be tasked with the responsibility to ensure and maintain a clean safe food environment and to be in full compliance with all requirements of programs and policies for Food Safety in maintaining a safe manufacturing environment.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
