Your daily responsibilities includeMAJOR JOB DUTIES: Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
Provides the highest level of guest service that exceeds guest expectations.
Attends to guests in pool area, cabanas, daybeds and lounge chairs ensuring memorable visit for the guests.
Keeps close communication with cabana and daybed host/hostess to ensure guest satisfaction.
Greets all guests in a friendly and professional manner.
Ensures guest safety while in the pool or on the pool deck by monitoring the pool area at all times
Responds to all situations safely and promptly.
Maintains cleanliness on the pool deck area by removing of any cups, trash and towels regularly.
Ensures all guest area is stocked with towels and supplies.
Reports all guest and employee situations to pool management immediately.
Opens and/or closes the pool area appropriately coordinating set up and break down with pool management
Informs management of needed supplies or equipment related issues.
Follows all service standards and department policies and procedures.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

To be successful in this position it will require the following skill setEXPERIENCE Minimum 1 year of experience as a lifeguard and/or pool attendant SKILLS
Ability to obtain Lifeguard Training Certificate from the American Red Cross
Able to learn all the pertinent aspects of daily pool operations including the ability to enforce rules in a courteous and professional manner
Must be trained to use proper rescue skills when necessary.
Excellent organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints, with particular attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal skills, both in person and over the phone when dealing with management, employees, and guests.
Effective listening abilities with strong judgment skills and good public relations skills with a good personality, enjoying opportunities to work with and assist people.
Physical stamina and proper mental attitude to deal effectively with guests, management, vendors and employees while working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
Must be able to stand and move throughout the pool area, ability to carry, pull and maintain lounge chairs as well as other pool deck equipment such as towel bins, weighing up to 100 lbs.
Ability to work outdoors in seasonal heat or cold as well as inclement weather.
Must be able to communicate effectively in English, in both written and oral forms.
Must have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.
Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance, adhering to M Resort standards.
Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
CERTIFICATE / LICENSE
Current and Valid CPR and First Aid certification required.
Current and Valid Lifeguard training certification required.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
