2023 YZ450F Matt Jory / Proven Moto - Pro Race Build $24k Invested 10.
6 Hours Since Build This bike is built by Matt Jory, former crew chief and head of engine development at Troy Lee Designs Honda, with 9 years of experience tuning factory bikes for Supercross and Nationals.
Matt's builds are widely considered among the best in the country.
I had Matt build me 2 bikes.
This 2023 YZ450F and also a 2024 YZ250F both built at the same time.
The reason I bring this up, our neighbor at the track is a top B class racer, they travel the country racing.
I asked him for a favor and take the 250 out for a couple laps to give me his honest opinion.
His dad used a different builder for their bike, spent the same amount of money, and his son came back to the pits with the biggest smile and said our bike made his feel slow.
He jumped a huge triple from the inside coming out of a corner that he said he had never done on his bike.
His dad bought our bike on the spot.

Cool story on this 450, My son trained privately with Jeff Alessi.
Jeff loved jumping on this bike showing my son how to ride a section.
Constantly told us that our 450 handled better than his 08 Factory Honda and that says a lot.
Became an inside joke because Jeff would show up for training fully geared up to ride my sons bike.

Green is 100 Octane - Red is T4 Why are we selling? My son is 6'7 and he rode a KTM and feels it fits him better for his size (Larger rider triangle).
It kills me to sell these bikes, but you have to ride what your most comfortable on.
My son has only been riding dirtbikes for 3 years.
The 1st year was just learning and starting to race.
His 2nd year he won D class, Then I had the bike built and suspension refreshed, and since then he has been racing C class on his KTM.
After this bike was built it was just ridden a couple times for fun.
Never raced since build.
Couple track days at Jordan River off road park in Utah.
